COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY (CBT)
What is CBT?
CBT (Cognitive behaviour therapy) is a form of psychotherapy. It is a solution based talking therapy. By working together, we use CBT to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviours, even if we are unsure exactly what is the cause.
We may look at past experiences and access information which will allow us to perceive how we see the world, and why this influences how we feel emotionally. By storing this information and understanding, we are able to come to terms with, gain acceptance and manage our negative thought patterns.
My philosophy is to treat a person holistically (physical, mental and emotional health) to allow us to live our life as we deserve. To feel happy!
With this structured intervention in a completely confidential and safe environment, there will be a commitment to make positive changes.
